Terms and Conditions

These terms describe the intended conditions for using Sagastein’s mobile learning features, web classrooms and exams, and related services. Sagastein is operated by Joblify Connect, a private company based in South Africa.

Draft for review · 16 October 2026

01Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account details, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts you are authorised to access. Tell support if you suspect an account has been compromised. Do not share passwords or verification codes.

Joblify Connect, a private company based in South Africa, operates Sagastein. The minimum age and any required parent, guardian, or school permission must be confirmed before these terms take effect. Teachers and organisations must have authority to enrol learners and submit their information.

02Learning tools and AI outputs

Sagastein provides study assistance, course creation, practice, and classroom tools. AI-generated lessons, answers, images, and audio can contain mistakes or omit context. Review content before relying on it, sharing it, or using it in an assessment.

The service does not promise a particular grade, learning outcome, qualification, or uninterrupted availability. It is not a substitute for professional advice or a teacher’s judgement. Features and allowances can vary by device, account role, subscription, and release.

03Your content and sharing

Submit only content you own or have permission to use. You retain your rights in your original material. Providing a feature requires permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that material for the requested service, including processing by relevant AI and infrastructure providers.

Public course sharing makes the selected content available to other learners. Do not publish private student information, confidential documents, or material that infringes another person’s rights. Ownership or exclusivity of AI-generated content is not guaranteed.

04Classrooms and assessments

Keep invitation links and join codes within the intended class. Follow the teacher’s assessment instructions and the rules that apply to your institution. Do not impersonate another learner, interfere with an exam, or attempt to bypass access controls.

Teachers are responsible for checking questions, publishing suitable material, setting assessment rules, and reviewing marks. Automated marking may need correction; contact your teacher about an assessment result.

05Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, or sharing harmful or infringing material.
  • Do not access other accounts or private data, evade subscription limits, disrupt the service, or attack its security.
  • Respect other learners, content creators, teachers, and applicable school rules.

06Paid features and subscriptions

Review the current plan, price, billing interval, feature allowances, and any trial conditions shown at purchase. Purchases and renewals are handled by the relevant app store under its purchase terms.

Manage cancellation and refund requests through the store used to subscribe. Deleting the app, stopping use, or requesting account deletion does not itself cancel a store subscription. Access after cancellation depends on the purchase and store terms.

07Third-party services and privacy

Sign-in, AI processing, hosting, email, diagnostics, and purchases rely on third-party services. Their availability and applicable terms can affect the relevant feature. The Privacy Policy describes the information involved and the controls available to you.

08Availability and account restrictions

Features may change or become unavailable during maintenance or service interruptions. Access may be restricted to investigate misuse, enforce classroom permissions, or protect users and the service. Suspension and archiving restrict access and do not necessarily delete stored records.

Contact support to discuss an access issue or request account deletion. Keep your own copy of material you need independently of the service.

09Your rights and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A dispute venue and any limitation of liability remain subject to review; this draft does not set a liability cap.

If something goes wrong, contact support with the relevant account details and a description of the issue. Never send passwords or verification codes.
